The company
ARTEC is a High-Technology engineering group composed of:
- ARTEC Aerospace (Toulouse, France)
- ARTEC Technologies (Montréal, Canada)
For the need of the space industry, the company has developed a vibration and acoustic attenuation technology based on the introduction of damping within structures.
This
technology,
called SPADD®
(Smart PAssive Damping Device), is an internationally patented innovative
passive damping concept . It enables drastic reduction of
vibration and acoustic levels.
ARTEC has also developed numerical tools, essential to
structure dynamic sizing and damping optimisation of devices
to be implemented on any mechanical assembly.
