Innovative passive damping concept
SPADD® (Smart PAssive Damping Device) is a technological breakthrough in the study of vibro-acoustics. This technology brings solutions to our clients' vibration problems.
SPADD® can apply to all industrial sectors. ARTEC works with major companies in the transportation industry (Space, Automotive, Railway, Aeronautics, Military - among which armament, shipbuilding) and also in other fields such as: electrical appliances, sports equipment, science related fields, public works sector, just to name a few.
This
technology
is integrated
in parallel with structures without modifying their static and
quasi-static behaviour. It can addd damping to existing structures as
curative
solutions. It can be taken into account during design phases. In this
second case, in addition to increasing performances, it
provides geometrical simplification to structure, it reduces
added mass, and can also reduce costs.
